The world clearly needed another one, so...
Hello and welcome to the Cinema Engineering podcast, in which four home cinema designers discuss the engineering and design requirements to deliver breathtaking, immersive performance in a modern setting.
We'll have a different topic each episode and there will definitely be guests.
What we aren't here to do, is to giddily praise the brands we use, appeal to mysticism, voodoo or secret sauce, or take backhanders.
You can find that elsewhere.

MEET THE DESIGNERS:
PETER AYLETT - OFFICINA ACUSTICA
Peter has won more awards, designed more world-class cinemas, delivered more education, and written more industry standards than you have.

CHRISTIAAN BEUKES - SPHERE CUSTOM
Hailing from sunny South Africa, and splitting his time between the four seasons (not the hotel) of Cape Town and the permanently-autumnal, leafy suburbs of Surrey, Christiaan also has a whole bunch of awards and education and whatnot.

BEN GOFF - CINEMA LUSSO
Ben created the home cinema industry sensation of 2021 - 'Triangles' - which, unusually, performs as well as it looks, and picked up 'Best Home Cinema' and 'Best Lighting Design' at the 2021 CEDIA EMEA awards. Then in 2022 he won 'Best Home Cinema' and 'Best Global Home Cinema'. FFS.

OWEN MADDOCK - CINEMAWORKS
Owen wrote the CEDIA EMEA short course 'Designing Home Cinemas and Media Rooms' for the design and build community. He only has one CEDIA award but is working on that. He also recently went all back to the future on us with a new Showroom.
